Classroom Course
ACSA Peer Auditors are required to take this one-day course every three years to maintain their auditor certification. This course will cover updates relating to any recent changes to the audit document and/or process, and will clarify any issues that auditors have encountered while evaluating health and safety programs.
COURSE TOPICS INCLUDE:
Reinforcing the rationale for conducting effective health and safety audits
Updates relating to revisions in the audit document/process
Professional standards for performing effective interviews, communicating audit findings, and preparing and delivering the auditor's executive summary report
Refining previously developed auditing skills through a simulated limited scope audit workshop
Certification
There is no written test for this course.
Once a certificate has been issued, the auditor must maintain certification by completing and submitting a minimum of one annual internal, maintenance or external audit, in addition to attending a recertification course every three (3) years (before the expiry date on their certificate).
Prerequisites
Must be a current ACSA Certified Peer Auditor.
