This two-day course provides information and resources for individuals developing, implementing, and monitoring traffic control strategies for the construction industry in Alberta. All topics covered in the one-day Alberta Traffic Control - Field Application course are addressed throughout this two-day course.

COURSE TOPICS INCLUDE:

• Temporary traffic control best practices

• Developing temporary traffic control strategies

• Hazard assessments and creating safer work zones

• Maintaining temporary traffic control strategies

• Erecting and removing signage and/or barricades

• Loading and transporting traffic control devices

• Device maintenance and recordkeeping practices

• Temporary traffic control standards throughout Alberta
