Course Description: Excel 2: Advanced Formula & Conditions

This intermediate Excel course builds on the foundational skills covered in Introduction to Spreadsheets.

Learners will work with a preformatted spreadsheet and advance their skills by creating complex formulas using both relative and absolute cell references. The course introduces conditional functions such as IF, enabling users to generate dynamic results based on specific conditions. Participants will also explore conditional formatting techniques to visually highlight key data points and improve spreadsheet clarity. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to design responsive, data-driven spreadsheets that adapt to changes automatically.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply relative and absolute cell referencing in formulas to ensure accurate calculations across various spreadsheet structures.

  • Use logical functions such as IF to return results based on specified conditions.
